Non-Transferable Warranty

The warranty for EZbike Canada products is non-transferable. This means the warranty benefits cannot be transferred or assigned to any subsequent purchaser or owner of the product. The warranty services and benefits are available only to the original purchaser, provided that the purchase was made from EZbike Canada or an authorized EZbike Canada dealer.

Reasons for Non-Transferability

The non-transferable nature of our warranty is designed to ensure that:

Our warranty services are efficiently managed and provided to our customers who purchased directly from us or our authorized dealers.We maintain high-quality service by understanding the usage history and maintenance of the product, which is more challenging with subsequent owners.

  • EZbike Canada can directly support customers who have chosen to invest in our brand from the outset, ensuring they receive the full benefit of our after-sales support and warranty service.


Warranty Eligibility

  1. You need to submit your service request to EZbike during the specified Limited Warranty Period and follow the outlined process for sending in your product for service.
  2. The product in question should be bought directly from EZbike.
  3. Only the person who originally bought the product is eligible for warranty service.
  4. It's essential to keep and present the original sales receipt, serial number and photo or video evidence of the problem to EZbike to confirm your eligibility for the warranty.
  5. The services you are entitled to under this Limited Warranty will be available if your product needs warranty repairs.

    Warranty Exclusions

    This Limited Warranty outlines the services you are entitled to if your product needs warranty repair. However, this warranty does not extend to:

    1. Damage resulting from abuse, misuse, neglect, or commercial exploitation.
    2. Damage due to operation contrary to the provided owner’s manual, related documentation, or use in extreme sports or exhibitions.
    3. Damage from altering the product's firmware with unauthorized third-party software.
    4. Damage from accidents, collisions, exposure to fire, water immersion, exposure to high-pressure water, freezing temperatures, earthquakes, impacts, severe rusting, or corrosion by chemicals.
    5. Normal wear and tear of consumable parts such as bearings, brake pads, brake rotors, and skateboard wheels.
    6. Wrongful assembly
    7. Damage from repairs not authorized by EZbike.
    8. Damage from attempts to repair the product by yourself, unless authorized by EZBike.
    9. Damage due to inadequate packaging or mishandling when shipping the product for warranty service.
    10. Cosmetic damage including scratches, dents, and wear of protective coatings, unless such damage is due to material defects or normal use.
    11. Damage from using the product with third-party products, components, or accessories not sold by EZbike, or modifications made with such items.

    Excluded from this warranty is routine maintenance needed for the product's normal function, including adjustments to the stem/steering, brakes, and bleeding of hydraulic brakes.


    Extended Warranty Agreement for Drive Train Components

    Warranty Provider: EZbike Canada

    Warranty Extension Period: This Extended Warranty Agreement extends the original warranty of the personal electric vehicle’s drivetrain components by an additional one (1) year following the expiration of the manufacturer's original warranty.

    Extended One Year Warranty Fee: $199.00 plus applicable taxes

    Coverage: This Extended Warranty covers all drive train components of the personal electric vehicle, including the motor, battery, controller, and bearings. Coverage is specifically limited to defects in materials or workmanship under normal and intended use.

    This Extended Warranty does not cover:

    Damage or malfunctions resulting from accidents, abuse, misuse, neglect, unauthorized modifications or repairs, exposure to elements, or failure to follow the manufacturer's instructions for maintenance and use.Consumable parts, including but not limited to brake pads, tires, and cables, unless such damage is a direct result of a defect in material or workmanship of the drive train components.Cosmetic damage that does not affect the functionality of the drive train components.

    Claims Process: To initiate a claim under this Extended Warranty, the Warranty Holder must contact EZbike Canada's customer service within the warranty period, providing a detailed description of the issue, proof of purchase, and any other documentation required by EZbike Canada. EZbike Canada reserves the right to inspect the product to verify the claim.

    Repair or Replacement: EZbike Canada will repair or, at its discretion, replace any defective drive train components covered by this Extended Warranty at no additional charge to the Warranty Holder, except for shipping costs, if applicable.

    Limitations of Liability: The total liability of EZbike Canada under this Extended Warranty shall not exceed the original purchase price of the covered personal electric vehicle drive train components.
